To end this year with a bang, the RS is holding an art contest. Anyone is welcome to enter, and prize money is being awarded.

Theme The theme for this contest will be "Winter", and that is open to interpretation.
Prizes (what everyone really cares about =p )
In each of the three categories, the first place winner will be awarded $50. All prize money will be issues via money order.
Rules The contest runs from now (September 24, 2009) until December 24th, 2009 11:54 PM US Central Time. If you miss that date, then sorry but no extensions =(
You can submit as many pieces as you want before the deadline is reached.
Artwork must be original. Using existing characters in your work is allowed, but original characters are preferred. Any contestant found plagerizing a piece will be disqualified immediately.
All artwork must be submitted (or postmarked) by December 24th 2009 11:59 US Central Time, no exceptions. All art digitally submitted must be emailed to me at
redarashi@hotmail.com, and include "Art Contest" in the email's subject.
Categories The contest will consist of three categories:
1)Worksafe art - anything worksafe (non pornographic) will be accepted.
2)Not safe for work art - the opposite of above (pornographic works)
3)Comical works - Create something funny and submit it. Works entered into this category will not be judged by artistic skill per se, but by how funny they are (So everyone enter!). Pictures, videos, and anything else visual is acceptable.
Format Any artwork will be accepted in any format. For exaple: Vectors, bitmaps, photos, and real life art (sketches or painting.)
Judging Once the contest has ended, the judging process will start. The judging process will span three days, and the judging panel will consist of eleven members.
